Dr. Pierson serves as an appointed member and Special Government Employee for the Department of Homeland Security Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee and Cybersecurity Subcommittee. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the Ponemon Institute, a member of the National Advisory Board of SecureWorld and has served as President of the FBI's Phoenix InfraGard. He is a graduate of Boston College (B.A., M.A.) and The University of Iowa (Ph.D., J.D.).
